KarobarHelp (“we”, “us”) provides the KarobarHelp business app, the KarobarHelp Bazaar customer app and the website karobarhelp.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account: your mobile number (used to sign in with a one-time password) and, if you give it, your name.
• Business details you enter: business name, address, PIN code, GSTIN, phone, email, logo, bank and UPI details, terms and signature.
• Records you create: items and prices, customers and suppliers (names, phone numbers, addresses, GSTIN), bills, payments, expenses and stock.
• Photos you upload: product photos, logo, payment QR and signature. The app only uses photos you pick yourself.
• Customer app: your mobile number (you sign in with a one-time password), your name, PIN code and, if you give it, your address, and the requests you send to shops. Your PIN code is used to show you the shops of your area.
• Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, time, request) kept for security and to fix problems.

We do not collect your contacts, location, SMS, call logs or photos you have not picked. We do not use advertising or tracking SDKs.

Why we use it

• To run the app: sign you in, save your records, make bills and reports, and sync between your phone and computer.
• To show your shop in the customer app — only if you switch on “Show on customer app”, and only the items you mark to show.
• To create bill links you choose to share (for example on WhatsApp); anyone with such a link can view that bill.
• To keep the service secure and to answer your requests for help.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that host and run KarobarHelp for us (cloud servers and file storage by DigitalOcean, and an SMS provider to send sign-in codes), under their confidentiality terms, or when required by law.

Filling in a customer by mobile number. When a shop on KarobarHelp adds a customer and types that person’s full 10-digit mobile number, we fill in the name and address already known for that number on KarobarHelp: the name and address the person gave on their own KarobarHelp account, the name and address another shop saved for them, or the name and address from a member or customer list of an association or service run by our company (ASAG Androapps Technology), which also fills your own details when you first sign in. Only the name and address are shown — never which shop saved them, bills, balances or any other detail. It works only with the complete number, and each shop can do it a limited number of times an hour. To have a name or address corrected or removed, contact us using the details below.

Your khata in the customer app. When you sign in to the KarobarHelp Bazaar app with your mobile number, you can see what shops on KarobarHelp have recorded against that same number: the bills they made for you, what you took on credit (udhaar), the payments you made and the balance, shop by shop. Only you see this, after proving the number is yours with a one-time password. The records belong to the shop that wrote them; if something is wrong, ask that shop to correct it.

Where it is stored and how it is protected

Data is stored on servers in India and sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to your business is limited to you and the staff you add.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your login and all businesses you own are deleted from our live systems; routine backups are overwritten within 30 days.

Your choices

• Edit or delete records in the app at any time.
• Turn “Show on customer app” off at any time.

Children

KarobarHelp is a business tool for adults and is not meant for children under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
